March 17 - April 17
Established in 1716, high on a magnificent bluff, overlooking the Mighty Mississippi, Natchez avoided the destruction during the Civil War and more than 600 examples of Antebellum Architecture still remain. Today, Natchez is treasured world-wide as a living museum of southern history and a hallmark of hospitality.
Starting March 17 and going through April 17, 2018, there are 22 private homes will open their doors. The homes have been arranged into eight separate home tours, each with a different theme based on their history or what make each house “unique”, ranging from where Elizabeth Taylor relaxed after a film shoot, to the location of the first US flag raised in Mississippi, to owners who amassed world class collections of signed French Porcelain and American Empire furnishings.
