Natchez Trace Parkway Wildlife Viewing

The historic Natchez Trace Parkway stretches nearly 444 miles from Nashville, TN to Natchez, MS. Wildlife is abundant throughout the entire route. Deer, wild turkey, bobwhite quail, raccoon, opossum, squirrel, and armadillio can be spotted. Migratory waterfowl can be seen in great numbers. Along this scenic route, visitors have extraordinary access to multitudes of self-guided interpretive trails, campgrounds, rivers, streams, lakes, ancient Indian burial mounds, historic markers, natural and cultural exhibits and agricultural lands.
