Golf : Delta Region

Mississippi’s Delta Region is defined by its wide, open fields of cotton, picturesque small towns and thriving casino resorts. The flatlands of this region contain some of the most fertile soil in the world, as evidenced by the verdant green fairways of its golf courses.

The Delta Region’s most popular golf area is Tunica Resorts, located 35 minutes south of Memphis. Tunica Resorts offers two distinctly different courses, each with its own set of challenges. The latest addition, Tunica National, offers an exciting 7,210-yard championship layout designed by former PGA TOUR player Mark McCumber. The other half of this magnificent twosome is River Bend Links, situated near Hollywood Casino, Resorts Tunica and Sam’s Town. The lush, Scottish links-style course plays to 6,900 yards from the tips and features sand and grass bunkers, plus unique and strategic mounding. For a truly memorable time, check out our annual Golf & Blues event in October, featuring six days of golf, music and fun offered by Golf Packages Etc.

Your time off the links will be equally exciting, as the region invites you to enjoy a host of non-golf activities -- including 24/7 casino action, boating, fishing, bird-watching, hiking, biking, hunting, camping and more.
