The Alcorn County Welcome Center will hold random drawings throughout the month of May to promote Mississippi and its rich music history. We will also have a display set up with Music themed handouts pertaining to music, concerts, music museums, and etc… Stop in and see us today and find out about music venues and our rich music history throughout the state.
THE HISTORY OF ALCORN COUNTY WELCOME CENTER
With the intersection of Highway 72 and Highway 45, Corinth was an ideal place for one of the state's Welcome Centers. Located at 2028 South Tate Street in Corinth, the Alcorn County Welcome Center was completed in 1998, built in the traditional colonial style decorated with antiques primarily from the 1800's that bring to mind a cozy Southern home rather than the typical rest stop.
