| Welcome to Mississippi |

Stop at a Welcome Center when you arrive in Mississippi. It’s a great way to find out about current events, activities, news, and also to pick up brochures and guides about all of the interesting and exciting destinations in Mississippi.

Our Welcome Centers are attractions unto themselves, each built to resemble the antebellum structures Mississippi is so famous for—and they’re all beautifully decorated with fine antique furnishings. Neatly manicured grounds feature picnic tables and grills, telephones, recreational vehicle waste disposal facilities, 24-hour security, restrooms and weather information. Motorcoach parking is available, as well as complimentary refreshments. The Welcome Center staff stands ready to answer any questions you have, and they can even help you make lodging reservations in Mississippi. Regular hours at all Welcome Centers are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week.

Three of our Welcome Centers are now equipped with wireless internet - DeSoto County Welcome Center, Hancock County Welcome Center, and Lauderdale County Welcome Center. Stop by and get connected!
