Elvis 56′ Elvis Homecoming Concert

On September 26, 2026, Tupelo, Mississippi, the birthplace of Elvis Presley, will commemorate the 70th anniversary of his legendary 1956 Homecoming Concert at the very site where it took place: the Tupelo Fairgrounds. This once-in-a-generation celebration will honor the King’s enduring legacy with live music, special programming, and a tribute to the hometown that launched his remarkable career.
More than a tribute, this milestone event celebrates the city where Elvis’ story began while showcasing Tupelo’s rich musical heritage. It’s a chance to experience the place Elvis always called home and revisit one of the most meaningful moments of his career. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. in Downtown Tupelo’s Fairpark with music from Blayze Windham, followed by the evening’s headliner, Elvis tribute artist Nick Perkins. The night concludes with a performance by Wyly Bigger.
