Location and Hours of Operation
Mississippi Aquarium is a brand-new addition to the Gulf Coast, celebrating its grand opening on August 29, 2020. This makes it one of the most up-to-date facilities in the United States. Located at 2100 E. Beach Blvd. in Gulfport, Mississippi Aquarium is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. Its hours are subject to change for a variety of reasons, so be sure to call their guest experience specialists if you have any concerns or questions about closings and cancellations.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online. However, if you choose to get your tickets when you arrive, note that Mississippi Aquarium stops selling tickets one hour before closing.
Whether you purchase your tickets online or in person, the prices remain the same and include:

- Children ages 3 to 12: $24.95
- Ages 13 to 64: $29.95
- Seniors (ages 65+): $29.95

If you prefer to avoid street parking in downtown Gulfport, Mississippi Aquarium offers a parking garage to all patrons with the following pricing:

Educational Opportunities and Special Events
Mississippi Aquarium provides many educational programs designed for all grade levels, including field trips and specialized interactive activities led by a qualified instructor. The aquarium also runs a special program with Mississippi State University that gives students in grades 6-12 the opportunity to spend an entire day sailing to Horn Island to participate in scientific marine data collection. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you’re lucky, you might be in the area when Mississippi Aquarium hosts its annual Sea of Stars. For this event, drones are launched into the sky to create 3D images of all sorts of aquatic animals.
