Black Creek

The 21-mile Black Creek passes through the Desoto National Forest in south Mississippi, offering diverse recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming, and camping. There are four primary landings equipped with boat ramps, campsites, and restrooms. In 1986, Congress included Black Creek in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System, making it the first and only wild and scenic river in Mississippi.
